Death/Doom, Stoner/Doom Lake of Tears sound has changed drastically over the years. The first albums are Melodic Death/Doom Metal, comparable to mid-period Paradise Lost, mixed with early Tiamat, as well as mid-period Moonspell and Cemetary. The band progressed towards a more stoner/doom psychedelic sound on the next two albums. 'The Neonai' sees the introduction of more danceable music, which is a bit reminiscent of Sundown. |
