Funeral Doom, Death/Doom Eye Of Solitude are lyrically inspired by emotional distress, inner pain and a cruel combination of negativity and grief. In their early Death/Doom phase, the band's originality mostly lies in the use of very deep guttural growls akin to Brutal Death's ones in a very melodic Doom Metal frame. Emperor meets My Dying Bride with a touch of Suffocation. After 'Canto III' the band moved into more melodic Funeral Doom territories not far removed from sister project Clouds. |
