Dresden-Leningrad

The Netherlands - Active.

Description

Stoner/Doom, Funeral Doom

As their name implies, the band's main lyrical inspiration is the second world war - these two cities having suffered severe war-related traumas. Lyrics are in Dutch and English and the overall mood conveyed by the music is as solemn and morose as it is ominous and crushing. While the band could be tagged as "stoner Doom", the gloomy and miserable atmosphere Dresden-Leningrad craft would certainly be of some appeal to some Funeral Doom fans.
