| Gothic/Doom Though it's uncertain whether the band can be considered Doom or not, I Miss My Death plays aggressive and majestic music that takes much of its influence from bands like Theatre of Tragedy and Tristania. Heavy usage of classical instruments (namely pianos, violins, and organs), operatic female vocals, deep growls, intricate guitars, and a sophisticated atmosphere make up the basic ingredients of the band's sound. A worthy recommendation to fans of The Sins of Thy Beloved and Trail of Tears. |
