Soothsayer

Ireland - Active.

Description

Atmospheric Doom

A five-piece band from Cork, in the south of Ireland, Soothsayer was formed by members of Sludge/Doomers ═weri˙ in 2013. With a sound that still owes something to sludgy Post-metal, particularly in the tormented harsh vocals and textural guitars, the band also holds a solid core of atmospheric Doom values that don't especially tie to any particular sub-genre but include Black-, Death-, Trad and even Epic-sounding moments. Recommended for fans of long, heavy, crushing yet melodic Doom tracks across the board.
