Ocean Of Grief

Greece - Active.

Description

Death/Doom

Founded in 2014, Athenian band Ocean Of Grief centred around a lush and melodic Death/Doom sound influenced by Saturnus and Slumber. Following a number of line-up changes, the six-piece then recorded a debut EP combining all the hallmarks of the genre: sad guitar lines, mournfully atmospheric keys and deep growls, all backed by slow-to-mid tempo percussion. Reminiscent of countrymen Immensity, it's in the same bracket of thoroughly modern-sounding classic Peaceville-inspired Death/Doom.
