Stoner/Doom

Mesmerizing, hypnotic groovy doom with characteristic soulful vocals of singer Laz. The psychedelic, almost trance-like atmosphere sets this band apart from most other groove rockers. Very interesting for fans of bands like Electric Wizard and High On Fire.

The band is a multicultural entity uniting four members of different nationalities. Unlike most doomy bands, there is a big chance that you'll see Obiat live as they are playing and touring extensively.

Singer Laz is very active in the musical scene. He is a.o. involved in writing and recording for Peach (TOOL's Justin Chancellor previous band).

The album π reads "eye tree pi", but on the cover it is spelled with the same images as we do.
