Wanhoop

Belgium - Active.

Description

Black/Doom

Wanhoop (dutch for 'despair') is a relative new comer to the doom scene. Apparently started due to the band members dissatisfaction with the current level of some metal bands. Musically they seem to alternate between slow, depressive sounding Doom-metal and harsh Black-metal (only vocally and conception; the music does not seem to go uptempo). This gives a harsh, very depressive feeling to the music. All in all the bandname seems to be chosen quite aptly, as it truly is music to despair to (in a good way).
