Middian

USA - Disbanded.

Description

Stoner/Doom

After YOB split up, Middian was formed. While much of the sound is the same, the pace has gone up. This means that some tracks don't fit the doom metal profile, but in general the band plays doom/stoner of the dark, spacey kind.

Age Eternal (2007)

Misc

Originally the bandname was intended to be Age, but it was changed to Middian before anything was released. In 2008 the band was again forced to change name after a Milwaukee band called Midian, who despite not having been active for years, sued the band for ten thousand dollars and to force them to change their name. Before splitting up, the band ended up on the moniker Age Eternal, named after their only album. On the bright side, the fall of Middian was to see the reunion of YOB.
