Quick introductory interview.

Interview with Meaningful Void.
1. Who are you and how did the band get started?

We are Meaningful Void, a death doom duo from the south of France featuring Hangsvart (from Abysmal Growls of Despair, Low Cave Sounds, Ursus Horibilis) and Vahdias (from The Iron Throne and Dominat). Hangsvart was searching for a new mate to start a death project. And Vahdias answered presently.

2. Why did you choose Doom, and how would you describe your style?

Well, a mixture of in-your-face death metal and slow grinding doom. Doom is so interesting because of the possibilities of using slower tempos and dissonance to create very strong atmospheres.

3. What would you consider to be the high point of your career so far?

It's only the beginning so I would say releasing the first single in its third and final mix.

4. Which three bands most influenced you?

Hmm I don't think either of us could say without leaving out a great band.

5. What are your plans for the near future?

To release our EP and possibly start playing live.

6. If there is anything you would like to add, the last words are yours.

Please check out our music and we will happily answer any questions.
