Quick introductory interview.

Interview with Silentio Mortis.
1. Who are you and how did the band get started?

SILENTIO MORTIS, from Brazil. It was begun with the union between Rodrigo Freire (guitars, vocals) and Carlos Otr (bass). Both were old friends and members of many underground metal bands in the Rio de Janeiro scene.

2.
Why did you choose Doom, and how would you describe your style?

Because there were a lack of Doom bands in Rio. Also, the founder member, Rodrigo Freire, is an early fan of the style, since 1990.

3. What would you consider to be the high point of your career so far?

The release of our first full length this year.

4. Which three bands most influenced you?

Candlemass, My Dying Bride, Black Sabbath.

5. What are your plans for the near future?

Release an EP or split on the next year (early recordings, before this formal band); and a new full length in 2020.

6. If there is anything you would like to add, the last words are yours.

Support the scene: go to concerts, buy stuff. Music is a professional job.
