Quick introductory interview.

Interview with Lacrima Mortis.
1. Who are you and how did the band get started ?

Iím Requiem, guitarist and main composer from Lacrima Mortis. The band started in the end of March 2016, when I talked to the drummer Scavenger and decide to play some slow and heavy riffs. After our first rehearsal, we invited the other guitarist Baud, and some months later added the vocalist Dread and our bassist Reaper to the line-up.

2. Why did you choose Doom, and how would you describe your style?

Iím always involved with Doom Metal, since my early metal days, after a brief passage on grindcore, I fell on my knees when I listened for the first time to the Gothic album from Paradise Lost, and later My Dying Bride with As the Flowers Wither.

3. What would you consider to be the high point of your career so far?

Well, in less than a year since our line up was complete, we've focused on our compositions and recorded two songs for an EP called Optare Mortem. And another highlight of our short career was playing aside our longtime friends from HellLight in S„o Paulo city.

4. Which three bands most influenced you?

My Dying Bride, Paradise Lost, Evoken.

5. What are your plans for the near future?

We are planning to record our first full length soon to release next year.

6. If there is anything you would like to add, the last words are yours.

Thank you for the opportunity.
