Quick introductory interview.

Interview with Gospel Of Death.
1. Who are you and how did the band get started?

I am the sole member of the Canadian Doom metal band Gospel of Death. I started writing in 2019 and released a full length album in January 2020.

2. Why did you choose Doom, and how would you describe your style?

Gospel of Death is a mixture of many styles, which some fans have said makes the genre hard to place. I use an acoustic folk instrument called a dulcimer and blend it with dark ambient, synth, DSBM, and funeral doom. Sometimes itís sad, sometimes itís dark, and sometimes itís psychedelic. But Iíve received a lot of positive responses from people so far.

3. What would you consider to be the high point of your career so far?

Releasing the album! I wrote, recorded, mixed, and mastered the entire thing myself.

4. Which three bands most influenced you?

Candlemass, Urfaust, and Xasthur.

5. What are your plans for the near future?

Im already writing the second album, so releasing that. As well as spreading the Gospel of Death!

6. If there is anything you would like to add, the last words are yours.

Drop acid.
