| Funeral Doom, Ambient Opaque Lucidity mixes dark ambient (with a focus on both being very dark and very ambient) and funeral doom in an unusual way. While the music often finds itself residing in the vein of bands like Until Death Overtakes Me and Absolute Misery, it also has a tendency towards Trollmann av Ildtoppberg-like minimalism as well as occational powerfully intense doom/death riffs. Some might consider this project to be too ambient to be considered real doom metal. |
