| Originally formed in Israel in the late 1990s, The Knell had a turbulent history, which more-or-less ended when founder Alec Zalogin moved to Chile in 2011. Though he collaborated with other bands after that point, it was more on an individual basis: due to issues with other similarly-named bands, he does not formally use the name there. In the 2018 interview above, he describes the band as "not dead...just dormant". |
