Death/Doom, Post-Metal/Post-Core Kentucky-based Seidr are hardly a Death Doom band ; the sole element that can link them to the Death scene are the growls ; otherwise, the band dwells more in all the Post-thing scene, blending Americana and Blues to the typical strong contrasts which build the identity of the Post-Metal scene - shifting between dark and heavy passages and lighter ones. They’re not too dissimilar from bands like Roareth, Batillus or B.Son; Woebegone Obscured is another one they could perhaps be more directly compared with. |
