Traditional Doom Orodruin plays old-school Doom Metal, St. Vitus style: painfully slow music, clean desperate vocals but with a slightly melodic touch. The rhythm section in particular creates a good doomy vibe, with misery and unhappiness all round. There's nothing romantic or sentimental about this band, and if you're a fan of the aforementioned St. Vitus or even Candlemass, there is a good chance you will dig this. |

The first demo is more NWOBHM-like and less Doomy than the new work. - Guitarist John Gallo also runs the born-too-late website. |
