Atmospheric Doom, Death/Doom
Mirror Morionis started out as a full group, pursuing a very relaxed,
Gothic-tinged Atmospheric Doom in the same realm as Draconian. After
their first album, it became a two-person act (one man, and a female vocalist)
and moved onto a more dramatic, more depressed form of Funeral Doom. Despite
the change in sound, their music is characterized by ethereal female singing,
deep grunts, light guitar riffs, heavy usage of synths, and a solemn, gloomy
atmosphere. A worthy recommendation for fans of Remembrance and
Shape of Despair. |
