YOB

USA - Active.

Description

Stoner/Doom

Extremely heavy and thick traditional Doom act in the vein of bands like Sleep and Electric Wizard, only more heavily influenced by doom. YOB is clearly influenced by Black Sabbath and has some definite stoner references. All in all, the music is definitely as heavy as a brick, if not a whole load of bricks! 'The Illusion Of Motion' sees the band adding some spaced elements to their music, but at the same time they're still growing heavier.
