| Epic Doom, Traditional Doom A promising new band featuring Leif Edling of Candlemass fame. The Epic Doom tradition is continued in a slightly different way here, combining the heavy trademark riffs with strong, soulful vocals, calm passages and Progressive Rock influences. Some songs tend more towards Rock than Metal. The organs and overall stylistic approach have a strong 70s vibe to them. Avatarium may even be interesting for those who have a hard time enjoying the usual Epic Doom formula. |
