Whispering Shadows

UK - Active.

Description

Funeral Doom, Ambient

A solo project from England, Whispering Shadows produce often-instrumental works that occupy ground somewhere between Funeral and Ambient Doom, with plenty of other outside influences. The differing style and variety of releases is quite reminiscent of the various NULLL collective bands, as well as containing elements of more ambient, nature-inspired black metal. The overall effect is a strong and consistent focus on stately, funereal and atmospheric melancholy.
