| Death/Doom, Sludge/Doom Old-school Death/Doom with a strong flavour of Sludge/Post-Metal wrapped up in a monstrously heavy bass-driven package, Canadian duo Norilsk create a bleak atmospheric soundscape as cold and brutal as the Siberian mining city they are named after. The project originally began as a solo venture for veteran multi-instrumentalist Nicolas Miquelon, but took its current form with the addition of Nick Richer on drums, both of whom had played together in Dark Metal band Damnus. |
