| Sludge/Doom, Post-Metal/Post-Core A hard-to-categorise, largely Italian band currently comprising Eraldo Bernocchi (Metallic Taste Of Blood), Lorenzo Esposito Fornasari (Berserk Band), Colin Edwin (Porcupine Tree) and Jacopo Pierazzuoli (MoRkObOt). Their sound owes a lot to Post-Metal/Sludge/Doom, and they are often referred to in Doom terms, but there are plenty of other influences mixed in with it, and any given track might largely conform to a Doom aesthetic - or not. One for people who don't mind venturing some way over genre boundaries, and who would consider "Experimental Post-Doom" an appealing description. |
