| Drone/Doom From Wexford, in the south of Ireland, Aghori are a guitar/effects duo working with a palette of heavy and hypnotic noise/drone textures. Unrelievedly slow, sombre and meditational tracks drag through long minutes of gradual evolution, accompanied by mysterious and indistinct background whispers. Intended to be trance-inducing and thoughtful, it's nowhere near as inaccessible, or as disturbing, as many noise-based acts. |
