Description

Sludge/Doom

A Sacramento-based band founded in 2013, this five-piece female-fronted outfit sits on the borders of funereal Sludge, with similarities to both Monarch and Undersmile, as well as elements of more outright Eyehategod Sludge. The bleak and overwhelming funeral-paced rhythms, monstrous guitar tone, eerie melodies, and haunting, engulfing atmosphere - with vocals consisting of throat-ripping shrieks, and some very hopeless sounding female cleans - includes touches of the psychedelic and extreme ends of the Doom spectrum, with a style could appeal to fans ranging from Windhand to Worship.
