Traditional Doom One of the better and most influential Doom acts to emerge in the 80s. Somehow along the way their name seems to have become lost amongst the new generation doom fans, unlike those of St. Vitus or Candlemass. But this band is also truly worth checking out, as many older doom fans can attest to. Early on, the band had labelled itself "White-metal" (Christian Metal) due to the lyrics. But overall the lyrics aren't pushy religious. Old school traditional doom-metal with clean vocals in Black Sabbath style. The band had been broken up for many years before initiating a reunion in 2001. |

The first release of the album 'Trouble' was also known as 'Psalm 9'. Probably because the CD has that text written in the lower right corner. - Ex-drummer Barry Stern died 1st April 2005 because of complications after surgery. Eric Wagner also plays in the band LID together with Danny Cavanagh of Anathema fave. The releases 'Live' and 'Dallas Texas 03/12/90' are both bootleg releases that aren't just approved by the band, Trouble's actually selling them from their website. |
