Sludge/Doom A trio from Liège, Angakok describe their sound as 'minimalistic, loud and chaotic Doom/Sludge', all of which is true. Mixed in with music which varies from super-heavy riffing to almost ritualistic droning are samples, some recognisable and some (presumably) in native Inuit. Influences from bands such as Walk Through Fire, Noothgrush and Grief can be found. |
