| Atmospheric Doom, Gothic/Doom Trees of Eternity are an international super group featuring members of Swallow the Sun, Wintersun, and October Tide. Their style consists of dreamy, haunting, Atmospheric Doom Metal. Slow, intimate songs are driven by weeping guitar leads, acoustic passages, and the gentle ghostly singing of Aleah Stanbridge (known as being the session female vocalist for StS). Altogether, their music can be filed alongside bands such as Omit, Lethian Dreams, and Draconian. |

| The project started out as a two piece between Swallow the Sun members Juha Raivio and Aleah Stanbridge. They became a full band in 2013 and recorded a full-length album entitled Hour of the Nightingale. The release of the album was put on hold until it was released posthumously in 2016, after the death of Aleah. |
