| Death/Doom Thorr's Hammer was a project band of Sunn O))) members's Greg Anderson and Steve O' Malley. They formed the band in 1995 together with female growler Runhild Gammelsaeter (whom at some point was the girlfriend of Isahn from Emperor). They recorded only one mini album in the space of two evenings then disbanded when due to Gammelsaeter's visa expiring. The music is extremely heavy and slow death/doom. The lyrics are in Norwegian and Gammelsaeter's vocals are otherworldly. The remaining members went on to form Burning Witch. |
