Death/Doom, Gothic/Doom This obscure US band from the 90's played very romantic and atmospheric Doom. Their first album, 'The Gardens of Dead Winter', consisted of raw and abrasive Death/Doom Metal that ranged somewhere between early-My Dying Bride and Thergothon. Later work saw them introducing some majestic Gothic elements; incorporating flutes, organs, pianos, and clean male singing into their music. Their second album, 'The Scarlet Tapestry', consists of Medieval sounding Gothic/Death/Doom Metal that would be suitable for fans of Morgion, Ashes You Leave, and Desire. |

The band left a lot of unreleased material behind when they disbanded. An entire album entitled 'The Shadow Masque', which was never properly recorded, and a half finished demo, 'The Naked and the Dead'. The band announced towards the end of 2003 that they would reform to finish recording their last album only. This reunion took place in 2005, but did not succeed in completing the release. |
