Epic Doom, Traditional Doom
Formed in 2006 by Dario Beretta (Drakkar) and Emanuele Rastelli (Crown Of Autumn), the band was originally an Epic metal project. In 2009, after Rastelli left, Beretta gathered a full line-up and moved to a more Epic Doom-based sound. With moments that sound very like Candlemass and Black Sabbath, some like Therion's choral/orchestral interludes, some fast Epic/Power Metal elements, and others that are retro-'70s keyboard- or guitar-led, Crimson Dawn have a varied and lively approach to the genre. |
