| Sludge/Doom, Stoner/Doom Three-piece Kurokuma, from Sheffield, formed in 2013 but with the line-up finalised in early 2014, and combining some quite vintage Prog/Psych influences with a core of outright Sludge. Expect to find plenty of complexity and subtlety in the rhythms and fretwork; despite that, and an almost-tribal feel at times, also expect massive heaviness. For comparison, it's in a similar, but groovier, vein to US band Sea Of Bones. |
