| Atmospheric Doom Californian trio Worm Ouroboros comprise bassist/vocalist Lorraine Rath (ex-The Gault, Amber Asylum), guitarist/vocalist Jessica Way (Barren Harvest), and drummer Aesop Dekker (Vhol, ex-Agalloch, Ludicra). Ethereal and fragile melodies mix Folk, Dark Ambient and other influences into an Atmospheric Doom framework somewhat reminiscent of the work of Aelter/Wolvserpent, overlaid with gentle intertwining harmonies from the two vocalists. Occasional Post-Rock style crescendos vary the pace and style somewhat. |
