| Sludge/Doom, Funeral Doom Although frequently pigeonholed and described as "Funeral Doom", Cologne's Nauthik offer much more of a Sludge aesthetic, heavily seasoned with Trad influences and ritualistic moments (including lyrics in Sardinian), and only occasionally underpinned by a Funeral tempo or iteration. If you're looking for a nautical comparison, more likely to appeal to fans of Ocean Chief than Ahab. |
