Traditional Doom, Epic Doom Illinois-based outfit Olórin were formed in 2009, inspired by the works of JRR Tolkien, around which all of their releases have been based. Musically influenced by Manilla Road and Cirith Ungol, Candlemass and Reverend Bizarre, it's not always obvious whether the Trad or Epic tag should take precedence, but either way they sit close to the borders of old-fashioned Heavy Metal. |
