Slow black/doom metal hybrid, with soft keys, and spoken blackish vocals. Surprisingly, the music does not come off sounding like dark metal, but rather, almost...

Noothgrush

USA - Disbanded.

Description

Sludge/Doom

Extremely tortured and painful Sludge Doom. Noothgrush has build up a "huge" and dedicated underground following throughout the years and seems to focus completely on releases split albums with other bands. One of the better bands in the Sludge genre (among the greats such as Grief). The guttural screams, chaotic "melody lines" and slowly forward ploughing music will appeal to any fan of the Sludge genre. This band belong to one of the most influential within their genre.

Misc

The release 'Twin Threat To Your Sanity' is a 2x7" split between Bongzilla, Corrupted, Dystopia and Noothgrush. The odd name comes from this sentence in the Doctor Seuss book "Walket In My Pocket": "But that noothgrush on my toothbrush. Him I could do without".
