Philistine

USA - Active.

Description

Sludge/Doom

Crushingly heavy and slow Sludge/Drone Uber Doom band in the vein of bands like Khanate, Halo and Bunkur, with a surprising industrial doom feel, similar to Zaraza, as well as some ambient/drone experimentation. The music plows forward at an unrelentingly slow pace, creating a truly unforgiving sound. The band was founded in 2003 to create a "primitive but mind crippling wall of sound, coupled with intelligence and introspection". This description fits them perfectly, Philistine are slow and low.
