Death/Doom Nymphea Aurora, then going under the name Phantasmagoria, was founded in autumn 2000 by André de Heus (ex-Serenade Of Darkness, Mytox, Titty Torture) and started out as a solo project focused on symphonic darkwave. The musical direction quickly changed towards symphonic death/doom. Near the end of 2003 Nymphea Aurora grew to become a true band with the addition of extra members. Musically Nymphea Aurora plays old school style death/doom (think off old The Gathering) with melodic and symphonic sections mixed into the music. Emotionally very melancholic and sad music. |
