Death/Doom One of the major names at the raw and aggressive end of Death/Doom. The band started out playing Swedish Death Metal, but has steadily evolved into playing doomier and doomier music. Those which can be considered "true" Doom are all the releases from 'Darkness Death Doom' to the present. Fans of diSEMBOWELMENT, demo era Anathema and fans of vile doom metal in general should enjoy this. |

Runemagick was originally founded in 1990. When the only thing they had achieved by 1993 was a Polish bootleg of 'Fullmoon Sodomy', a release of the same demo by Chaos Productions where the label ripped them off, and a botchered record deal, the band split up. The band wouldn't resurface until 1997, but has continued to this day. The split 7" 'Worshippers Of Death' is a split with the Swedish Death Metal band Soulreaper. The split 7" 'Doomed By Death' is a split with the satanic death metal band Lord Belial. 'The Northern Lights' is a split with Ocean Chief. A limited edition of 'Darkness Death Doom' has 'The Pentagram' as a bonus CD. The main man behind the band (Nicklas Rudolfsson, AKA Terror) also plays in The Funeral Orchestra and used to play in Bells Of Doom and the melodic Black/Death Metal band Sacramentum. |
