| Funeral Doom Whilst starting out as a band, Despond slowly developed into a solo project with Richard Loudin as the sole surviving member. Deep, dark atmospheric doom-metal somewhere between Skepticism and Morgion. Due to the extremely deep sound, Despond is one of the heavier bands around with atmospheric tendencies. The band re-formed in 2002 with a brand new line-up (including previous drummer & members from the French Doom band Ataraxie) but this line-up also disbanded after a few years leaving Richard again as the sole member. |
