Progressive Doom A classic band dating back to the 1980's, Revelation could be considered the ultimate marriage between Doom Metal and Progressive Rock. Ties to the sound of Trouble are clear in their slower Trad. Doom anthems, though the band would also go into sections of 70's Progressive Rock in the vein of Rush. |

The band initially went under the name Panic, in 1985, but changed that to one inspired by a Trouble song in 1986. Only drummer Steve Branagan remained with the band throughout its career, though co-founder John Brenner (guitar, '86-93) and bassist from '88-91 Bert Hall Jr both rejoined in 2007 to complete the final line-up that eventually folded in 2013. |
