| Death/Doom Formed in 2002, Penza-based Amber Tears offer a symphonic mixture of Death/Doom and Gothic/Doom with growled vocals, occasional uptempo sections and a very intense atmosphere that also draws on Pagan Metal. Their works contain some one-off odd tracks in other genres, such as Viking Metal, Irish Folk, melodic Death Metal and Ambient. Influences include Haggard, Gods Tower and Tristania. |

| The band's Russian name is Янтарные Cлёзы ("Yantarnye Slezy"). Whilst the Russian version is used as the cover logo on their releases, and the lyrics and vocals are all in Russian, they also provide the English translation in many places, including all the later releases. |
