Quick introductory interview.

Interview with Ulver Av Høsten.
1. Who are you and how did the band get started ?

I’m Hades (it’s my nickname in music, and of course I don’t want to publish my real identity), a musician from Iran. In Summer 2015, I decided to start a Depressive Black Metal band, later, I decided to play the way Sunn O))) plays! So, I changed my genre to Drone/Doom metal, but I now describe my genre as “Experimental Ambient Doom Metal” , of course I played a lot of ambient and drone stuff in a while.

2. Why did you choose Doom, and how would you describe your style?

I loved the bands like “Black Sabbath” and “Saint Vitus”. Later, I known bands such as “Skepticism” and “Sunn O)))”, and I fell in a deep love with their heavy, mellow and unique style of playing music. I describe my style like John Cage “Everything human does is music”. And of course, everything I do is music. My style is not even metal in a lot of cases, but I like to call it doom, because people get doomed when listen to my music.

3. What would you consider to be the high point of your career so far?

Having a unique style of Drone/Doom.

4. Which three bands most influenced you?

Sunn O))), Earth and My Dying Bride.

5. What are your plans for the near future?

Actually have no plans, but maybe releasing a full length album.

6. If there is anything you would like to add, the last words are yours.

I have nothing more to say.
