3D House of Beef : Low Cycle

Doomcore is a word that has only recenly been invented. The term sludge/doom has always covered a lot of the sound of 3D House Of Beef, but there is some bouncy parts of the music that doesn't fit with stoner or doomrock. They are doomy, but yet quite fitting to the core sound. Hence labeling this band as a sludge/doomcore band is probably the most correct of the easy explanations.

But terms are usually worthless since ususally people disagree on them or don't know them. To explain this in another way. 3D House Of Beef plays a negative style of music, utilizing raspy guitar riffs that seems to bounce along, like a not so cute and fluffy bunny with blood on it's rather pointy teeth.

Another thing that makes an impression on the music is the lyrics that the vo-kills utter. Punk ideology definately has an influence on their political lyrics. They also attack the mindsets of the narrowminded, and the lifestyles of the indifferent. They don't like what they see and express that very clearly.

I could compare 3D House Of Beef to bigger names like Crowbar and Eyehategod, and in many ways it would be correct. But fortuenately they also do a lot of their style in their own way. In addition to enjoying the great headbanging time (and neckmuscles) I get from listening to these guys, their originality is what makes this my cup of tea.
